Patrick Ulrich
Architectural Designer

Patrick has immersed himself in the practice of Architecture for more than fifteen years, contributing to offices in New York and Chicago before joining LAWSON near Washington, D.C. His high level of technical training is balanced with Patrick’s implicit sense of design. He is adept at moving from specific, focused solutions to large-scale projects of great complexity. Coordinating the many consultants and regulatory issues inherent in many projects has become second nature to Patrick. He is able to grasp the big picture and deliver strong, cohesive designs that resonate with clients.

As lead designer for the new build to suit project for Retirement Living Television, Patrick has orchestrated a complex building program, stringent technical demands, and a demanding schedule. Patrick is also adept at complex building renovations, evaluating building structure, mechanical, and electrical systems to determine the highest form of re-use. His understanding of the regulatory process keeps the design and approval process moving smoothly even in difficult circumstances.

Patrick utilizes a number of design tools to produce three-dimensional representations of projects as they evolve. His ability to sketch, shape, and mold a design adds great value to any project team.
