Bruce Lawson, Principal, AIA, LEED AP
With 40 years of architecture experience, Bruce Lawson brings over 30 years serving broadcast clients, both nationally and internationally. His involvement as team leader of every project ensures that clients’ goals are met. Bruce’s expertise in design, planning, and budgeting is complemented by the depth and breadth of his field experience. Having completed hundreds of projects, he has mastered the art of minimizing disruption of ongoing operations during construction. He is also adept at matching the right team to the unique needs of each project.
With a background in base building work with noted architects Arthur Cotton Moore and Perkins+Will, and interior design with Swanke Hayden Connell, Bruce has an innate understanding of the components of construction as well as the aesthetics of interior design and space planning. He is also LEED certified and knowledgeable in green building design. With Bruce at its helm, Lawson offers full service capabilities combined with personal service and unmatched broadcast project expertise.
Beyond broadcast, Bruce has experience in projects ranging from single family homes and townhouses to national retail chains, restaurants, and a full spectrum of commercial facilities. He also utilizes his broad understanding of architecture, interior design, and project management to provide legal consulting and expert witness services in complex court cases involving all aspects of architecture and construction.
James Ahn, Architect
James Ahn brings 28 years of experience in architecture with a decade of serving clients in the broadcast industry. He has proven expertise in the design of complex broadcast facilities in the US and abroad. His hands-on involvement in the design and technical aspects of each project keeps the client’s budget and schedule on track. James excels at anticipating problems and resolving issues quickly and efficiently. His knowledge of methods and materials is unsurpassed resulting in project documents that are accurate and complete.
Having been a principal in his own firm and serving as project architect at the respected architecture firms of Gensler, RTKL Associates, and Haverson-Rockwell, James is equally adept at designing a small broadcast space or a 50,000 square foot building. Lawson clients benefit from his attention to both form and function as he documents, directs, and coordinates all aspects of a project to ensure its success.
